Hanslope is 3 miles to the east of the A508 Northampton to Stony Stratford. Hanslope Combined School caters for Infants and Juniors age 5 – 11/12yrs. There is a Private Nursery in part of the School called Little Meadows. Local shopping facilities are available within the village with Central Milton Keynes being some 5 miles to the south. There are three public houses. Communications in the area are excellent with the M1 accessible at junction 15 to the north and junction 14 to the south. There is a main line rail service between Milton Keynes and London, Euston, which takes 40 minutes.

For nearly 40 years, Pre-school children have been served by Hanslope Pre-school located at the Village Hall and much of the adult education and leisure provision is also housed there.
This is a drawing of Hanslope church after a severe storm in 1804 when the spire was destroyed. It was rebuilt 20 feet shorter than the original which had been 206 feet high.
