Ashby Parva is a rural village and civil parish in the Harborough district of Leicestershire. The population stands at just over 200. The village is in the west of the district, west of the M1 motorway, and nearby Ullesthorpe, Leire and Bitteswell. It is about 3 miles away from Lutterworth.
During the English Civil War parliamentary troops from Warwickshire garrisons visited Ashby Parva and the surrounding villages. The village was recorded in the Domesday Book.

Ashby Parva is home to a beautiful church known as St Peters Church.
The village has a bus service of its own with the nearby Village of Dunton Bassett also having regular bus service going to Leicester and Lutterworth.
Culture and Events
There is a film society which meets in the village hall during its season. There are allotments in the village. The Ashby Parva Parish Meeting regularly hosts events and often fund raising events by themselves and with other local villages where the churches and other local businesses play a big role. Further clubs and facilities are available in many of the nearby towns and villages.
The Holly Bush local pub is popular with the locals and tea room at Palmers Garden Centre in nearby Ullesthorpe. Further clubs and facilities are available in many of the nearby towns and villages.
While there are no sporting societies in Ashby Parva itself, many clubs are in nearby villages such as Dunton Bassett but also the Lutterworth Leisure Centre, and further afield at Harborough Leisure Centre in Market Harborough. Other clubs include the Lutterworth Soccer Centre, Lutterworth Rugby, Lutterworth Golf Club, Kilworth Springs Golf Club, Ullesthorpe Golf Club and the Lutterworth Cricket Club all a short distance away.
